Mandel's new series for Netflix, Bullsh*t: The Game Show, is not to be confused with another show with a similar title. Mandel is also known for hosting and executive producing Deal or No Deal and co-hosts Nat Geo Wild's Animals Doing Things with his son Alex. He had served as a judge for eleven seasons of America's Got Talent at NBC and followed that up with a more recent gig as a judge of the reboot of Canada's Got Talent alongside Lilly Singh, Kardinal Offishall, and Trish Stratus. Teasing this new game show and other shows like it, Brandon Riegg, VP, Unscripted and Documentary Series, previously told Deadline, “You will see at least one big traditional-type game show, then there are some of these performance-type shows and the other bigger area is competition-type shows. To win big in this game you don't have to be the smartest person in the room to cash in, you just have to convince everyone that you are. Throughout the game, players will work their way up a money ladder either by answering questions correctly or by confidently giving incorrect answers – and persuading their opponents that they are accurate. Hosted by Howie Mandel, Bullsh*t: The Game Show will offer contestants a chance to win big money, even when they don’t know the correct answer. The show is scheduled to start streaming on Netflix on April 27.
